Pumpkin, Pumpkin

Young children will delight in performing this magic trick and will eagerly sing a solo to have the opportunity!

Print out the pumpkin images front and back on orange paper. Cut into a pumpkin shape. Stand in front of the children holding the pumpkin with the "pumpkin" side facing front.

Sing the first half of Pumpkin, Pumpkin. At the lyric "turn," quickly spin your body all the way around (380-degree turn). At the moment your back is facing the children, flip the pumpkin around so that the jack-o'-lantern face is now facing forward. When you face front again, the children will be amazed that the pumpkin has turned into a jack-o'-lantern.

After a few demonstrations, allow volunteer children to sing and perform this trick!
